TRACTORFOLK / THE FIELD MANUAL

About TractorFolk

TractorFolk is an independent information website for people who own or want to buy a small tractor. We write for rural landowners, hobby farmers, and homesteaders with a few acres to about 100.

Good iron. Better know-how.

Our scope includes sub-compact, compact, and utility tractors, roughly 20 to 120 horsepower, along with older tractors that still do useful work. Buying decisions, ownership, implements, and land projects belong together here.

The site is written by the TractorFolk editorial team in plain, practical language. We cover brands independently and are not a tractor manufacturer or dealer.

A field manual in the making.

TractorFolk is new. We’re building our guide library over time, and sections without published articles say so. Our free planning tools are available now.

About the imagery.

The unbranded tractor image on our homepage is an AI-generated editorial illustration. It does not represent a tested machine, an owned tractor, or a particular manufacturer’s product.
