A LITTLE MATH.
A BETTER DECISION.

Two free tools to organize your tractor decisions. No account, email address, or download required. Your entries stay in your browser.

01 / TRACTOR TASK PLANNERSTART WITH THE WORK

FIND YOUR
STARTING POINT.

Acreage alone won’t tell you which tractor to buy. Use this worksheet to organize the land, work, and implement questions to take to a dealer.

This planner doesn’t prescribe horsepower or confirm that a tractor is suitable for your terrain.

02 / BALLAST WEIGHT WORKSHEETYOUR MANUAL SUPPLIES THE REQUIREMENT

START WITH
THE RIGHT NUMBER.

Already have a rear ballast requirement from your tractor or loader manual? Subtract the qualifying ballast you have from that requirement.

This is an arithmetic worksheet, not a stability calculation. Only count weight that your manual permits in the specified location. Tire ballast, wheel weights, and rear implements aren’t automatically interchangeable. Check axle, tire, hitch, and total weight limits separately.
